About Mellow Mushroom

 The first Mellow Mushroom was born and flourished in Midtown Atlanta during the early 70's, opened by two Georgia Tech roommates and a University of Georgia student. Their goal: To create a pizza restaurant dedicated to serving the finest product possible in terms of health and taste. The Mellow Mushroom name is synonymous with quality and is widely recognized in the southeast, with over 100 locations throughout the region. Mellow Mushroom pizzas and calzones are made with spring-water dough and only the freshest possible ingredients. Whether you dine-in or take-out, you may choose from a variety of specialty pizzas such as the Magical Mystery Tour, the Kosmic Karma, or the White Rabbit, as well as hoagies, salads, hummus, and hand made pretzels. A tempting selection of beverages is offered to compliment the menu, including 50+ craft and microbrew beers, with 20+ on tap, in addition to homemade sangria, and a full liquor bar. Happy Hour is daily from 3-7pm, and consists of $2 off all drafts, wines by the glass, and mixed drinks.
